Welcome to the Online Store Auctions brought to you by Caring Transitions of Bozeman in Montana!

Our focus for buyers is to provide a place to acquire what you want, such as a variety of high quality "previously loved" personal Estate items, sometimes rare, one of a kind or simply useful, with the highest possible level of customer service during all transactions.

As we represent you our sellers, our focus is to provide a place to liquidate and give a new life to what is no longer needed due to relocating and downsizing, after a traumatic life event such as the loss of a family member, a divorce or a new disability, or a wonderful event such as marriage, combining two houses!

We aim to foster a win-win situation in minimizing the stress and maximizing the returns for our sellers while providing our buyers with a wonderful opportunity to buy the items they long for.

Before bidding, please take a moment to read all the information below on how we conduct our Auctions

Terms and Conditions

Pick-ups

Winning bidders must provide an ID for identification and a signature is requested on our pick-up sheet. Winning bidders must bring enough help to LIFT, CARRY, and LOAD purchases in their vehicle and are responsible for the secure transportation of purchases. (Due to insurance restrictions, the Caring Transitions Team is NOT allowed to assist in moving, lifting or loading items.) Though occasionally, some items will be boxed/bagged and ready to go as a courtesy of Caring Transitions of Bozeman, winning bidders are responsible for bringing packing materials (boxes, bags, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, blankets etc.) needed and other items such as tools (if you need to take an item apart), dolly, etc. Be sure you have enough cargo space to haul all your treasures!

Bidding Agreement

A bid is an Agreement; therefore, buyers are committed to purchasing their winning items. Please make sure that you are able to pick-up the item “where it is” on the “date specified” between the “hours specified” before engaging in bidding so that you are able to honor this contract. Items HAVE to be picked-up on the specific day and location, no exceptions. We are required to empty the premises in a timely manner. Please refrain from bidding if you are not planning to buy. As a courtesy to our sellers, bidding privileges will be suspended if you default on this Agreement to insure that the best interest of buyers and sellers are kept in mind throughout the buying-selling process. Some items might have a “reserve” (minimum) that must be met before the highest bidder can win the item, thus helping our sellers to get basic, reasonable prices for the items. A “buy it now” option might be offered on some items, thus allowing our buyers to avoid the bidding process if they chose to and purchase the item immediately, so that they are certain to get the desired items.

Bidding Time

Auctions are listed in Eastern Time. Pick-ups are in local, Mountain Time. Auctions do not end until biding has ceased. Time is added until people stop bidding. Ending times for groups of items are staggered in increments of a few minutes, thus allowing a buyer to follow and possibly acquire multiple much-coveted items at the end of an Auction, and providing the seller with an increased opportunity at maximizing the sales profit.

Lot Description

Every effort is made to accurately describe items including any known defects, but we do not list every flaw. Obvious faults are listed base on our assessment, however one should not assume that our assessment of condition will be the same as yours. Buyers are responsible for reviewing all photos, researching and asking questions before bidding. Dimensions may be approximate. Items are sold “as is”, “where is”, no refunds and no returns. Working order of any clock, watch, mechanical and electronic devices is not guarantee. Normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintages and used items are to be expected and consistent with age.

Payment

Payment preferred via PayPal within 12 hours of auction close. The is an option to pay with a credit card. No electronic checks payment (they typically take 3-5 business days to be deposited what is too long to clear before pick-up). Invoices are sent to auction winners soon after auction ends. Please wait for online invoice prior to paying, especially if you require shipping or have won multiple items. Payment is through PayPal, must be made promptly and must clear before pick-up. A 15% Buyers Premium is added to each purchase. (This charge is to offset our increased cost of labor.) Invoices will specify purchase amount and exact address/directions for pick-up. No warranties are given or implied. Sales are final. Customers who have not paid for property by the time of pick-up forfeit any claim to that property and that forfeited property may be sold to another buyer on pick-up day. Items that have been paid that have not been picked up by the end of the pick-up time period will be considered abandoned and subject to no refund. Such items will be disposed of, as in this liquidation business, we are obliged to empty the premises, so that our seller can close the storage unit or sell the property.

Preview

Preview will be given by requested appointment only. No preview in the last 48 hours.

Shipping

Your credit card information will be needed and taken by email or over the phone (you are responsible to send that email or to call us within 12 hours) to make payment for UPS, Pack & Ship in addition to the $25 fee for our time.
