Here you will find all the details about bidding, buying, paying, picking up, and Shipping.


Bidder is responsible for understanding all the deadlines, rules, and terms for each sale. If you need additional information regarding any item, please email us by using the link at the bottom of the page. Always ask any, and all questions prior to bidding. All Sales are final, no refunds. A 15% Buyers Premium & 6.35% sales tax will be added to the winning bid amount. If you are tax exempt please request & fill out our form in the office, or by email.

A bid is an agreement to purchase the item(s). You are committed to purchasing and picking up your winning item(s) during scheduled pick up times.  Please do not bid, if you do not plan to purchase & pick up your items. Bidding privileges may be suspended if you default on this agreement.


Bidding Ends:  Each item will have its own unique ending time and all items will be staggered for bidders who wish to bid on multiple items or participate in a live auction style of bidding. (all website times are shown as eastern time zone.)
Pick-ups:  Normally in or near New London County, CT. Each auction could have a different pick up location. Please check the description area of items you bid on to see approximately where the pick location/time is.  see your invoice for exact pick up locations.

(The exact pick-up location will be indicated on invoices to winning bidders. The address will be on the invoice from Caring Transitions, not PayPal.)


Bidding Instructions:

Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage and used items.  We do not list every flaw (although we try.) most flaws are pictured not described. All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS.  No refunds or returns.  CT does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic or mechanical device.  Dimensions given may be approximate. We have tried to accurately describe items, note any flaws, or defects by descriptions &/or photos

 All items are sold AS IS.    All sales are final—No refunds.

Note:  All bidders must be at least 18 years old.


To pay for your purchase please sign in to then click My Account, click Won. If you are bidding on multiple items in a sale, wait until the sale ends before you select to create your invoice in order to have one invoice for that sale. You can then select to checkout. Please direct any questions to the Seller at Thank you for your purchase!

If you fail to pay for your items prior to pick-up your items may be resold or donated at the end of the day.

Pick-up Instructions:

When the auction ends auction winners will receive an invoice with pick-up information via email from Caring Transitions. At this time email, or text your preferred pick up time immediately following the auction close & with in 24hrs of winning an item. The invoice will provide the exact address for pick up. Access & parking at the pick-up location may be difficult, so scheduling a pick up time is always a must. (Do this after receiving and paying your invoice.) At the latest confirm your pick up within 24hrs of winning.

Please bring your own packing materials, & boxes to protect your items and muscle to remove from premises and load.  Be sure you have enough cargo space to haul all your treasures.  Unfortunately, we cannot provide help with loading.

If you fail to pick-up your items or arrange an alternate pick-up time, you will be charged a $20.00 Missed pickup fee, $45.00 transport fee, and $1.00 per day storage per lot won. 

If you failed to pay, schedule a pick up, or request shipping prior to the pick-up day, items will be considered abandoned, you will forfeit your right to the items, your items will be resold, and your name removed from our database. The KEY is to communicate with us prior to pick-up day if you are having any items shipped, issues paying, or picking up.


It is your job to make sure everything you purchased is accounted for on pick up & to request shipping (things can get misplaced or accidentally taken by the wrong person, adequate notice is the only way to get it back). If something you purchased is missing, and we are not notified your item is missing during or immediately after pick up it may be donated or trashed.


All items must be picked up during our scheduled pick-up times – unless shipping arrangements or Delivery has been set up. All Missed Pick-ups will be billed $20.00 fee, Storage fees @ $1.00 per day, and Transport fees $45.00. If your missed pick up & transported items remain unclaimed for 5 days or more your items will be sent to donation or resold!


Shipping available!

If shipping is needed, please advise us immediately after receiving and paying your invoice. Additional charges for shipping will be billed once your initial invoice has been paid and we have received notice shipping is needed via email. Charges will be billed to your original invoice or directly from UPS (for lots taken to UPS for packing) for payment. (Watch your email for updated information, and always call if you have not got shipping charges within 2 weeks of the auction) All shipping charges are determined by UPS, Fed Ex, or USPS.

Shipping Per lot fee ($10) and additional lot fees ($5) apply per invoice plus the carrier shipping charges. Shipping can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks, but generally is shipped within 2 weeks of the auction day. A lot is any item or group of items with a single price point. If you have not advised us about the shipping of your items before pick up day (generally 2-3 days following the auction) You will be billed a restocking fee of $15.00. If you have not paid the shipping fees within 7 days of billing, your items will be considered abandon, donated or resold. If you have large, a lot, or unusual shaped/fragile items material cost will be added accordingly, or taken to UPS for packing & shipping.

Caring Transitions is under no obligation to meet any special requests, but we certainly work with you as much as possible.

CT Southeast CT reserves the right to postpone or cancel any Auction, or any sale in its own discretion, without notice. CT Southeast CT will have no liability to prospective bidders as a result of any withdrawal, cancellation or postponement of Auctions or sales.
